This policy explains how Route of Nations handles the data of people using the website rotadasnacoes.com and the Route of Nations app, available in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
Who we are
Route of Nations is a missions mobilization portal and app, with the purpose of bringing people together in prayer for the nations and for the people groups not yet reached with the gospel. Questions about this policy can be sent to contato@rotadasnacoes.com.
What we collect on the website
If you create an account on the website, we keep the name and email given at signup, along with your personal prayer journal and the nations or people groups you choose to adopt. This data exists so your prayer history is yours, and you can ask for your account and data to be deleted at any time by writing to the email above.
If you make a donation, the payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number: we keep only a record of the amount, the date and the designation of the donation (for example, a nation or a specific project), for accountability and to issue receipts.
The website uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your chosen language. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools.
What we collect in the app
The app does not require signup or login. Two preferences are kept only on your device, never on our servers: the language you chose and the time of your daily prayer reminder, if you turn it on.
If you turn on the reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your own device. We do not send this notification through a server and we do not have access to your notification identifier.
To show the content about nations and people groups, the app makes read-only queries, without any personal identification, to our database (Supabase) and to rotadasnacoes.com. These queries do not send your name, email or any data that identifies you.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that support our operation: Stripe, to process payments, and Supabase, to host the content of the website and the app. Neither receives data beyond what is strictly necessary for the service it provides, and we do not sell or rent data to third parties for advertising purposes.
Children
Route of Nations is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Your rights
You may, at any time, ask what data we hold about you, correct it, or ask for its deletion, by writing to contato@rotadasnacoes.com. Deleting your website account removes your prayer journal and the adoptions linked to it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or the app change. The date of the last update appears at the bottom of this page.
